A Blessing, Not a Curse

Name Date

Read the Story

King Balak took Balaam up a hill to look at God's people. He built seven altars. He wanted Balaam to say bad words over them.

But God put good words in Balaam's mouth. Balaam blessed God's people! King Balak was angry. He said, I asked you to curse them, but you blessed them!

Balak tried again from another hill. Again Balaam blessed them. He said, God is not a man, that He should lie. God had said bless, and no one could change it.

Memory Verse

“Behold, I have received a command to bless. He has blessed, and I can’t reverse it.”
