Numbers 17 · Grade 2
Aaron's Stick Blooms
Read the Story
The people kept grumbling. They did not like that God chose Aaron to be the priest. God had a plan to show them.
God told twelve leaders to bring a stick. Each stick had a name on it. Aaron's name was on one. Moses put all the sticks in the tent, near the ark.
The next day Moses came back. Aaron's stick had buds, flowers, and ripe almonds! The other sticks were still dry. God showed that He chose Aaron.
Memory Verse
“On the next day, Moses went into the Tent of the Testimony; and behold, Aaron’s rod for the house of Levi had sprouted, budded, produced blossoms, and bore ripe almonds.”
