Numbers 14 · Grade 3
Do Not Fear
Read the Story
After the bad report, all the people wept that night. They grumbled against Moses and Aaron. They said, Let's choose a leader, and let's return into Egypt.
Joshua and Caleb tore their clothes. They said, The land is very good. If Yahweh delights in us, He will bring us into it. Don't fear the people, for Yahweh is with us. But the people wanted to stone them.
God's glory appeared. Moses prayed for the people, and God said, I have pardoned. But that generation would wander forty years, one year for each day of spying. Only Caleb and Joshua would enter, along with the children.
Memory Verse
“If Yahweh delights in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it to us: a land which flows with milk and honey.”
