Numbers 14 · Grade 2

Joshua and Caleb

Name Date

Read the Story

The people heard the scary report. They cried all night. They said, Let us go back to Egypt!

Joshua and Caleb said, The land is very good! If the Lord is pleased with us, He will bring us in. Do not be afraid! But the people would not listen.

Moses prayed, and God forgave them. But the people had to wait in the desert for forty years. Later, Joshua and Caleb and the children got to go into the land. God keeps His promises.

Memory Verse

“If Yahweh delights in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it to us: a land which flows with milk and honey.”
