Numbers 13 · Grade 2
Spying Out the Land
Read the Story
God was giving His people a new land called Canaan. Moses sent twelve men to look at it. They were called spies.
The spies looked for forty days. They found a bunch of grapes so big that two men carried it on a pole! The land was full of good food.
Ten spies were afraid. They said, The people there are too big and strong. But Caleb said, Let us go up now! We can do it! Caleb trusted God.
Memory Verse
“Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, “Let’s go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it!””
