Numbers 12 · Grade 3
Faithful in All My House
Read the Story
Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Cushite woman he had married. They said, Has Yahweh indeed spoken only with Moses? Hasn't He spoken also with us? And Yahweh heard it.
The Bible says Moses was very humble, more than all the men who were on the surface of the earth (12:3). God called the three to the Tent of Meeting. He came down in a pillar of cloud. He said He spoke to prophets in dreams, but with Moses He spoke mouth to mouth.
When the cloud left, Miriam had a skin disease. Aaron begged Moses for help, and Moses cried, Heal her, God, I beg you! Miriam was shut outside the camp seven days. The people did not travel until she was brought in again.
Memory Verse
