Nehemiah 6 · Grade 2
A Great Work
Read the Story
The wall was almost done. The bad men tried to trick Nehemiah. They asked him to come and meet them.
Nehemiah said no. He said he was doing a great work. He could not stop. They asked him four times. He said no each time. Then they sent a letter with lies. Nehemiah prayed to God to make his hands strong.
At last the wall was done! It took fifty-two days. The other lands heard of it. They knew God had done this work.
Memory Verse
“So the wall was finished in the twenty-fifth day of Elul, in fifty-two days.”
