Read the Story
Nehemiah went back to the king for a while. When he came home, things were wrong. A man named Tobiah had a room in God's house.
Nehemiah threw out his things. He made the room clean. The helpers in God's house had no food. So the people brought their gifts again.
Some people worked on God's day of rest. Nehemiah shut the gates on that day. He helped the people keep their promise. He asked God to remember him for good.
Memory Verse
“Then all Judah brought the tithe of the grain, the new wine, and the oil to the treasuries.”
