Who Will Live in the City?

Name Date

Read the Story

The city had a new wall. But not many people lived there. The leaders made a plan.

One out of ten families would move to the city. The rest would stay in their towns. Some men chose to go on their own.

The people blessed the men who chose to go. Priests and helpers lived in the city too. One man led the thank-you prayer. Now God's city could grow.

Memory Verse

“The people blessed all the men who willingly offered themselves to dwell in Jerusalem.”

Nehemiah 11:2 (WEB)
