Jesus took Peter, James and John up a high mountain. Something amazing happened! Jesus' face shone like the sun. His clothes became white as light.

Two men from long ago, Moses and Elijah, came and talked with Jesus. Then a bright cloud covered them.

A voice came from the cloud. God said, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to him." Jesus touched His friends and said, "Don't be afraid."
