Jesus asked His disciples who people said He was. Some said John the Baptist. Some said a prophet.

Then Jesus asked, "But who do you say that I am?"

Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." Jesus was glad. He said God the Father had shown this to Peter.
