Matthew 14 · Grade 2
A Lunch for Thousands
Read the Story
Many people came to see Jesus. Jesus felt sorry for them. He healed the sick people.
It got late. The people were hungry. The disciples had only five loaves of bread and two fish.
Jesus looked up to heaven and blessed the food. He broke the bread. The disciples gave it to the people. Everyone ate and was full! There were twelve baskets of food left over.
Memory Verse
“They all ate and were filled. They took up twelve baskets full of that which remained left over from the broken pieces.”
