Go Into All the World
Read the Story
When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices. Very early on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb. They asked each other, "Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?" But the very large stone was already rolled back.
Inside they saw a young man in a white robe. He said, "Don't be amazed. You seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen! He is not here." He told them to tell His disciples and Peter that Jesus would meet them in Galilee.
Jesus appeared first to Mary Magdalene. Later He appeared to the eleven. He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the Good News to the whole creation." Then He was taken up into heaven, and the disciples went out and preached everywhere.
