Five Loaves and Two Fish

Name Date

Read the Story

Jesus sent His twelve friends to tell people about God. They also healed sick people.

One day a huge crowd came to hear Jesus. It got late, and everyone was hungry. There were only five loaves of bread and two fish.

Jesus looked up to heaven and thanked God. He broke the bread and gave it to His friends to share. Everyone ate and was full! There were twelve baskets of food left over.

Memory Verse

“He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to the sky, he blessed them, broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude.”
