Luke 4 · Grade 2
Jesus Uses God's Word
Read the Story
Jesus went into the wilderness. He did not eat for forty days. He was very hungry.
The devil tried to get Jesus to do wrong. Each time, Jesus said words from the Bible. Jesus did not sin.
Then Jesus went to His hometown. He read from the book of Isaiah. Later He went to other towns. He taught people about God and healed many who were sick.
Memory Verse
““The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed,”
Luke 4:18 (WEB)
