Read the Story

John lived in the wilderness. He told people to stop doing wrong and turn back to God.

People came to John at the Jordan River, and he baptized them. John said, Share with others. Be honest. Someone greater than me is coming!

Then Jesus came to be baptized. The Holy Spirit came down on Him like a dove. A voice from heaven said, You are my beloved Son. God the Father loved Jesus very much.
