He Is Risen!

Name Date

Read the Story

Early on Sunday, women went to Jesus' tomb. The stone was rolled away. Jesus' body was not there!

Two angels in shining clothes said, He is not here. He is risen! The women ran to tell the disciples.

Later, Jesus walked with two friends on a road. They did not know it was Jesus. At dinner, He broke bread, and they knew Him! Then Jesus visited all His disciples. He ate fish with them. Jesus is alive!

Memory Verse

“He isn’t here, but is risen. Remember what he told you when he was still in Galilee,”
