Do This to Remember Me

Name Date

Read the Story

Jesus ate a special meal with His friends. It was the Passover. Jesus took bread. He thanked God and broke it. He said, Do this to remember Me.

Then Jesus went to the Mount of Olives to pray. He was very sad. He prayed, Father, not My will, but Yours. God sent an angel to make Him strong.

Men came to take Jesus away. Peter followed. People asked Peter if he knew Jesus. Three times Peter said no. A rooster crowed. Peter remembered Jesus' words. He went out and cried. Jesus knew all this would happen, and He knew He would rise again (Luke 24).

Memory Verse
