Luke 16 · Grade 3
God or Money?
Read the Story
Jesus told about a manager who was going to lose his job. He quickly made friends by lowering what people owed his master. Jesus said we should be wise and use money to do good. Whoever is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much.
Jesus said no servant can serve two masters. You cannot serve God and money. The Pharisees loved money, and they laughed at Him.
Jesus told about a rich man who wore fine clothes and ate well every day. A poor, sick man named Lazarus lay at his gate. Both men died. Lazarus was comforted at Abraham's side, but the rich man was in sorrow. He asked for someone to warn his brothers. Abraham said they already had Moses and the prophets to listen to.
Memory Verse
