Teach Us to Pray

Name Date

Read the Story

One day the disciples said, Lord, teach us to pray. Jesus taught them a prayer.

He said to pray to God as our Father. Ask God for daily bread. Ask God to forgive our sins. We should forgive others too.

Jesus said, Keep asking. Keep looking. Keep knocking. A dad gives good things to his child. God our Father gives even better gifts. He gives the Holy Spirit to those who ask.

Memory Verse

“Give us day by day our daily bread.”
