Leviticus 9 · Grade 2
Fire from God
Read the Story
On the eighth day, Aaron began to serve as priest. Moses told him what to bring. Aaron gave gifts to God for himself and for the people.
Moses said, God's glory will appear to you. Aaron lifted his hands and blessed the people. Then Moses and Aaron went into the tent. They came out and blessed the people again.
God's glory came for all to see. Fire came out from God. It burned up the gift on the altar. The people saw it. They shouted and fell down on their faces.
Memory Verse
“Fire came out from before Yahweh, and consumed the burnt offering and the fat upon the altar. When all the people saw it, they shouted, and fell on their faces.”
