Leviticus 6 · Grade 2
Fire on the Altar
Read the Story
God said that if a man took something from his neighbor, he must give it all back. He must add a little more too. Then he brought a ram to God.
God told the priests about the fire on the altar. The fire must keep burning all night. It must not go out.
Every morning the priest put wood on the fire. He put on his linen clothes. He took the ashes away. The fire burned all the time. God was always near His people.
Memory Verse
“Fire shall be kept burning on the altar continually; it shall not go out.”
