Read the Story

God told His people where to bring their gifts. They had to bring them to the door of His tent. They must not give gifts to false gods.

God also said, Do not eat blood. Why? Because life is in the blood. Life is a gift from God.

God used the gift of life on the altar to forgive sin. Jesus gave His life for us on the cross. He did it so we can be forgiven.

“The priest shall sprinkle the blood on Yahweh’s altar at the door of the Tent of Meeting, and burn the fat for a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.”
