Judges 3 · Grade 2
Three Helpers
Read the Story
Israel did evil. They forgot God. So a king from far away ruled them for eight years. Then they cried to God. God sent Othniel. God's Spirit came on him. He saved them. The land had rest for forty years.
Israel did evil again. Eglon, the king of Moab, ruled them for eighteen years. They cried to God. God sent Ehud. Ehud was left-handed.
God used Ehud to beat the king of Moab. Then the land had rest for eighty years. After that, God used Shamgar to save Israel too.
Memory Verse
“When the children of Israel cried to Yahweh, Yahweh raised up a savior to the children of Israel, who saved them, even Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb’s younger brother.”
