Judges 10 · Grade 2
We Have Sinned
Read the Story
Tola judged Israel for twenty-three years. Then Jair judged Israel. He had thirty sons. They rode on thirty donkeys.
But Israel did evil again. They served many false gods. They left God. So enemies hurt them for eighteen years.
Israel cried to God. They said they had sinned. God told them to go cry to the gods they chose. Israel asked God to do what was good to Him, but to please save them. They put away their false gods. They served God. God's heart was sad for them.
Memory Verse
“They put away the foreign gods from among them and served Yahweh; and his soul was grieved for the misery of Israel.”
