Joshua 4 · Grade 2
Stones That Speak
Read the Story
God said to Joshua, Take twelve men. Take one man from each tribe. Each man took a stone from the middle of the river.
The priests came up out of the river with the ark. Then the water came back. The river was full again.
Joshua set up the twelve stones at Gilgal. He said that their children would ask what these stones mean. They should tell them that Israel came over this Jordan on dry land. God did it so all people would know His hand is mighty.
Memory Verse
“Then you shall let your children know, saying, ‘Israel came over this Jordan on dry land.”
