Joshua 23 · Grade 3
Hold Fast to Yahweh
Read the Story
After many days, Yahweh had given rest to Israel. Joshua was old and well advanced in years. He called for the elders, heads, judges, and officers of Israel.
Joshua said, It is Yahweh your God who has fought for you. He told them to keep all that is written in the book of the law of Moses. They must not turn to the right hand or to the left. He said, hold fast to Yahweh your God.
Joshua said, One man of you shall chase a thousand. He also said, Take good heed therefore to yourselves, that you love Yahweh your God. Joshua said not one thing had failed of all the good things Yahweh spoke.
