Joshua was now very old. God had given Israel rest. Joshua called all the leaders to come.

Joshua said that God had fought for them. He told them to keep all that is written in the book of the law and not to turn away from it.

Joshua told them to hold fast to God and to love God. Not one good thing God promised has failed. Every promise came true.
