Joshua 18 · Grade 3
Stop Waiting
Read the Story
The whole congregation of Israel gathered at Shiloh and set up the Tent of Meeting there. The land was subdued before them. Yet seven tribes had not divided their inheritance.
Joshua said, How long will you neglect to go in to possess the land, which Yahweh, the God of your fathers, has given you? He told each tribe to choose three men to walk through the land and describe it.
The men passed through the land and wrote it by cities into seven portions in a book. They came back to Joshua at Shiloh. Joshua cast lots for them before Yahweh. The lot of Benjamin came up between Judah and Joseph.
