Joshua 17 · Grade 3
God Keeps His Word to the Daughters
Read the Story
The lot came for the tribe of Manasseh. Zelophehad had no sons. He had five daughters: Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.
They came to Eleazar the priest and to Joshua. They said, Yahweh commanded Moses to give us an inheritance among our brothers. So Joshua did what Yahweh had said. They got land with their father's brothers.
The children of Joseph said they were many people. They had only one lot. Joshua told them to go up to the forest and clear land. He said they would drive out the Canaanites. The Canaanites had chariots of iron.
Memory Verse
“They came to Eleazar the priest, and to Joshua the son of Nun, and to the princes, saying, “Yahweh commanded Moses to give us an inheritance among our brothers.” Therefore according to the commandment of Yahweh he gave them an inheritance among the brothers of their father.”
