Joshua 16 · Grade 3
The Children of Joseph
Read the Story
The lot came out for the children of Joseph. It began at the Jordan at Jericho. Their border went up through the hill country to Bethel. Manasseh and Ephraim took their land.
Ephraim's border went from Ataroth Addar to Upper Beth Horon. Then it went west to the sea. Ephraim also had some cities set apart inside the land of Manasseh.
But they didn't drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer. The Canaanites stayed in Ephraim's land. They were made to work as servants.
