Joshua 13 · Grade 3
Yahweh Is Their Inheritance
Read the Story
Now Joshua was old. Yahweh said there was still very much land to be possessed. God named the lands of the Philistines and other peoples.
Yahweh said, I will drive them out from before the children of Israel. Joshua's job was to divide the land. It would go to the nine tribes and the half-tribe of Manasseh.
Moses had already given land east of the Jordan to Reuben, Gad, and half of Manasseh. But Moses gave no inheritance to the tribe of Levi. Yahweh, the God of Israel, is their inheritance.
Memory Verse
“But Moses gave no inheritance to the tribe of Levi. Yahweh, the God of Israel, is their inheritance, as he spoke to them.”
