John 17 · Grade 2
Jesus Prays
Read the Story
Jesus looked up to heaven. He prayed to God the Father. He prayed for His friends.
Jesus asked God to keep His friends safe. He asked God to make them holy. He said, Your word is truth.
Then Jesus prayed for people who would believe later. That means us! Jesus prayed that we would all be one family. He prayed that we would love each other.
Memory Verse
““Not for these only do I pray, but for those also who will believe in me through their word,”
John 17:20 (WEB)
