Joel 2 · Grade 2
God Is Kind
Read the Story
Joel said to blow the trumpet. A hard day was coming. But God said to come back to Him with all their heart.
God is kind and slow to get angry. God sent rain again. The fields grew grain. God said He would give back what the bugs ate. Be glad!
Memory Verse
“Tear your heart and not your garments, and turn to Yahweh, your God; for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness, and relents from sending calamity.”
