Job 42 · Grade 3
Now My Eye Sees You
Read the Story
Job answered Yahweh, I know that you can do all things. He said, I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees you. Job was sorry for the things he had said.
Yahweh spoke to Eliphaz. God said He was angry with him and his two friends, because they had not spoken of Him what is right, as His servant Job had. The friends had been wrong to say Job was suffering for his sins.
The friends brought an offering, and Job prayed for them. Yahweh restored Job's prosperity when he prayed for his friends. Yahweh gave Job twice as much as he had before. Job lived one hundred forty years.
