Job 39 · Grade 3
The Hawk and the Eagle
Read the Story
God asked Job, Do you know the time when the mountain goats give birth? Job did not know, but God knew.
God asked if the wild ox would be content to serve Job. He told about the ostrich, which runs faster than a horse and its rider. He asked, Have you given the horse might?
God asked, Is it by your wisdom that the hawk soars? Is it at your command that the eagle mounts up, and makes his nest on high? God made the animals and gives them what they need.
Memory Verse
““Is it by your wisdom that the hawk soars, and stretches her wings toward the south?”
