Job 37 · Grade 3
The Wondrous Works of God
Read the Story
Elihu said, Yes, at this my heart trembles. He said, God thunders marvelously with his voice. He does great things, which we can't comprehend.
Elihu said God says to the snow, Fall on the earth. God sends the shower of rain. By the breath of God, ice is given. Then the animals take cover and remain in their dens.
Elihu said, Listen to this, Job. Stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God. He said, With God is awesome majesty. In justice and great righteousness, he will not oppress. Elihu said some true things about God, but he was also too harsh with Job, and God Himself has the final word.
