Job 34 · Grade 3

The Almighty Will Not Pervert Justice

Name Date

Read the Story

Elihu said, Hear my words, you wise men. For the ear tries words, as the palate tastes food. Let us choose for us that which is right.

Elihu said, Yes surely, God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert justice. He said, For his eyes are on the ways of a man. He sees all his goings. There is no darkness where workers of iniquity may hide.

Elihu said, Job speaks without knowledge. That was partly right. But Elihu also said Job added rebellion to his sin. That went too far. God later called Job His servant.
