Job 33 · Grade 3
I Am Formed Out of the Clay
Read the Story
Elihu said, However, Job, please hear my speech. He said, The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life. He said, I am also formed out of the clay. Elihu was a person just like Job.
Elihu said, In this you are not just, for God is greater than man. He said, For God speaks once, yes twice, though man pays no attention.
Elihu said God speaks in dreams and keeps back a person's soul from the pit. A person can say, He has redeemed my soul from going into the pit. My life will see the light. Elihu said some true things about God, but he was also too harsh with Job, and God Himself has the final word.
