Job 30 · Grade 3
When I Waited for Light
Read the Story
Job said, But now those who are younger than I have me in derision. They did not hesitate to spit in his face. He said, My welfare has passed away as a cloud.
Job said, I cry to you, and you do not answer me. He asked, Didn't I weep for him who was in trouble? Wasn't my soul grieved for the needy?
Job said, When I looked for good, then evil came. When I waited for light, darkness came. He said, Therefore my harp has turned to mourning. Job told God how he felt. God listens to our sad prayers.
