Shall Any Teach God?

Name Date

Read the Story

Job said, Listen diligently to my speech. Let this be your consolation. He asked them to let him speak.

Job asked, Why do the wicked live, become old, yes, and grow mighty in power? He said their houses are safe and their children dance. They tell God, Depart from us. They ask what profit they would have if they prayed.

Job asked, Shall any teach God knowledge, since he judges those who are high? He said some die in full strength and others in bitterness of soul. He told the friends that their answers were only falsehood.

For families: talk about these together.

  • How can you just listen to a friend who is hurting?
