Job 17 · Grade 3

Hold to Your Way

Name Date

Read the Story

Job said, My spirit is consumed. He said mockers were with him. He asked God to give a pledge for him, for no one else would strike hands with him.

Job said he had become a byword of the people. His eye was dim by reason of sorrow. He said upright men would be astonished at this.

Job said, Yet the righteous will hold to his way. He who has clean hands will grow stronger and stronger. He told his friends he would not find a wise man among them. Then he asked, Where then is my hope?
