Job 13 · Grade 3

I Desire to Reason with God

Name Date

Read the Story

Job said, What you know, I know also. I am not inferior to you. He said, Surely I would speak to the Almighty. I desire to reason with God.

Job called his friends physicians of no value. He said, Oh that you would be completely silent! Then you would be wise. He asked, Will you speak unrighteously for God, and talk deceitfully for him? Job warned that God would reprove them.

Job said, Behold, he will kill me. I have no hope. Nevertheless, I will maintain my ways before him. He set his cause in order. He asked God to call him and answer him, and to show him his sins. He asked God, Why do you hide your face?
