Job 10 · Grade 3

Fashioned as Clay

Name Date

Read the Story

Job said, My soul is weary of my life. He said he would speak in the bitterness of his soul. He asked God, Do not condemn me. Show me why you contend with me.

Job reminded God that God's hands had framed him and fashioned him. He said, Remember, I beg you, that you have fashioned me as clay. God had clothed him with skin and flesh and knit him together with bones and sinews.

Job said, You have granted me life and loving kindness. Your visitation has preserved my spirit. Job knew God had made him with care. But he did not understand why God now seemed to be against him.

Memory Verse

“You have granted me life and loving kindness. Your visitation has preserved my spirit.”
