Job Still Worships

Name Date

Read the Story

Job lived in the land of Uz. He feared God and turned away from evil. Job had seven sons and three daughters. He had many sheep, camels, oxen, and donkeys. Job prayed for his children often.

Satan came before the Lord. Satan said Job feared God only because God was so good to him. God let Satan test Job. But God said Satan could not touch Job himself.

In one day Job lost his animals. A great wind hit a house, and his children died. Job was very sad. He tore his robe and fell on the ground. Then he worshiped God. He said, Blessed be Yahweh's name. Job did not sin.

Memory Verse

“In all this, Job didn’t sin, nor charge God with wrongdoing.”
