Jeremiah 38 · Grade 2
Out of the Pit
Read the Story
Some men did not like God's message. They put Jeremiah down into a deep pit. There was no water, only mud. Jeremiah sank in the mud.
A man named Ebedmelech was kind. He asked the king for help. He let down ropes and soft rags. Then they pulled Jeremiah up out of the pit.
Memory Verse
“So they lifted Jeremiah up with the cords, and took him up out of the dungeon; and Jeremiah remained in the court of the guard.”
