The Scroll
Read the Story
Jeremiah told his helper Baruch God's words. Baruch wrote them on a scroll. Then Baruch read the scroll at the temple.
The king did not like God's words. He cut up the scroll and burned it. But God kept Jeremiah and Baruch safe. God told them to write it again.
Memory Verse
“Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah; and Baruch wrote from the mouth of Jeremiah all Yahweh’s words, which he had spoken to him, on a scroll of a book.”
