Jeremiah 28 · Grade 2

A Wooden Yoke Breaks

Name Date

Read the Story

A man named Hananiah said trouble would end soon. He said it would be over in two years. But God did not say that.

Hananiah took the yoke from Jeremiah's neck. He broke it. God told Jeremiah that bars of iron would come next. God's word is always true.

Memory Verse

As for the prophet who prophesies of peace, when the word of the prophet happens, then the prophet will be known, that Yahweh has truly sent him.”
