Jeremiah 15 · Grade 3
A Fortified Bronze Wall
Read the Story
God told Jeremiah that Jerusalem would not escape trouble this time. Even if Moses and Samuel prayed, the people had gone too far from God. They had gone backward.
Jeremiah was hurting. People argued with him and spoke against him. He told God that he had not joined those who make merry. He sat alone because God's hand was on him.
Jeremiah remembered how God's words came to him. Your words were found, and I ate them. They were a joy and the rejoicing of his heart. God told Jeremiah to return to him. God promised to make him a fortified bronze wall. God said he would deliver Jeremiah out of the hand of the wicked.
Memory Verse
“Your words were found, and I ate them. Your words were to me a joy and the rejoicing of my heart, for I am called by your name, Yahweh, God of Armies.”
