James 4 · Grade 2

Come Close to God

Name Date

Read the Story

James says some people fight because they want things for themselves. They do not have what they need because they do not ask God.

God helps people who are humble. Come close to God, and he will come close to you. Do not say mean things about each other. Our life is short, like a mist. So we say, if the Lord wants, we will do this or that.

Memory Verse

“Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners. Purify your hearts, you double-minded.”

James 4:8 (WEB)
